Top Ten Photos from London - March 2012*
*whoops, Top Ten turned into Top Sixteen, random number but so hard to choose favorites!
1. I think this was my favorite photo, I don't know - very hard to choose...but isn't this just so London?
2. Making no apologies for being American tourists. (Should we have coordinated our outfits for photos like this?) Delaney learned a lot about the Queen during this trip, including how to tell from the flag flying at Buckingham Palace whether she was home or not.
3. I love the Queen Elizabeth Gate at Hyde Park.
4. Riding the double decker tour bus is fun, and in heavy traffic allows plenty of time for photos.
5. The London 2012 Olympic countdown clock was at Trafalgar Square.
6. Our hotel, Marriott County Hall with The London Eye out back, and Big Ben across the River. What could be better?
7. Tower of London
8. Tower Bridge, my favorite! Taken from the back of the Thames River Cruise boat.
9. Bathtime is better in London, yes?
10. Mind the Gap!
11. Playing with giant bubbles along the Thames, Big Ben looming in the background...why can't every Tuesday afternoon be this?
12. The Olympic Rings in St Pancras Station were unexpected and so fun to see!
13. Big Ben, with Instagram filter...
14. These postcards, pretty tacky but why did I kind of want to buy all of them? Just took a picture instead.
15. Buckingham Palace, wouldn't it be amazing to get behind those gates?
16. Classic red phone booth, as seen from the top of the bus.
This post is part of a list-making project called Lists With Friends 2014. You know you love a good list!
