So, this weekend in McCall Don and Delaney and I watched all day as a parasail boat took people out. Up, up and way up. Cool. Then Don started thinking maybe he should try it. It only took about 20 minutes of Delaney and I badgering him (C'mon, Daddy! Do it! Do it!) before we were headed into town to try it.
Ten years ago, I would have done it too. Now that I am a mom, that part of me is long gone for some reason. Heh. For an extra $15 they let Delaney and I ride on the parasail boat and take some pictures. I was reeeeally hoping to get some good pictures. Good thing my camera battery was all charged up!
So with a very brief run down on what to do up there, he was off! And smiling! This smile is similar to the smile he sports in all the "daddy fishing in Alaska" pictures we have...
It felt like he was WAY up there. And when he got back down, the kid running the boat said, "Dude, you were WAY up there." Ha.. yep, just what I thought.
He reported that the view was amazing! And I bet it was. There's still snow on all the mountains surrounding the lake.
We really got lucky, it was Sunday evening and there was no boat traffic on the lake.
Whoo! Yay Daddy! What a cool way to end a beautiful weekend in McCall!
how FUN is that! And yah- totally a Daddy thing to do lol!

Becoming a mom has taken a little of that kind of adventure out of me, but introduced a whole other type at the same time (lol)
