Delaney is 5 1/2 today. I think it's a good day to have as a birthday halfway mark, especially since she is Irish!
Eleven years ago, I was in Ireland for St Patrick's Day. I really look forward to going again someday. Hopefully the next trip will include my mom so she can see where her family is from. :) Such a beautiful country and such nice people.
Don, Delaney and I made a Leprechaun trap for preschool, she was really excited to get to school today to set it up! I have seen Leprechaun Trap ideas in the past in magazines and blogs, this one from Katherine Marie photography blog was our main inspiration. Have you seen this blog? I've gone through almost all the archives and I could go on for days about the cool stuff she creates with paper!! Love it all! Check it out!

She reported that a Leprechaun made a mess out of the room while they were at recess, knocked over all the chairs, some of the traps and also left treats in the cubbies!
We found a darling idea here and made our own version of it for the teachers. It turned out really well and Delaney had fun drawing the rainbows on the tags.
For the record, I thought maybe the rainbow flavored Twizzlers would be yucky, but they are actually really GOOD!!
